Meet Our Staff
Kathleen Strafuss, Au.D.
Northeast Houston Hearing Services is owned by Kathleen Strafuss, Au.D. Her Bachelor and Masters degrees were awarded by Kansas State University and her Doctor a Audiology was earned at A.T. Still University. Dr. Strafuss worked in a variety of settings as a Speech/Language Pathologist and an Audiologist; including schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private practice. She is licensed to practice Audiology and Speech/Language Pathology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Dr. Strafuss has resided in the community for 25 years and currently enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, family, two canine companions Pepper and Lily, and furry feline Scoobie.

Temeka Ford, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Ford earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of Louisiana and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University. She has worked with every population from infants to geriatrics. Dr. Ford is licensed to practice audiology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA). Her spare time is spent with family, friends and church activities.

Mona has 19 years experience with front desk administration in the hearing healthcare field; the last four years at Northeast Houston Hearing Services . She currently resides in the community with her husband Bruce. Mona and Bruce enjoy spending time with their two adult children and "eight and half grandchildren" ... their ninth grandchild is due in a few months. Additional family members include furry felines Lucy and Lola. Mona’s hobbies include crocheting and spending time with her children grandchildren.

Northeast Houston Hearing Services welcomed Heather in January, 2015. She has a background in the healthcare arena as she worked as a Respiratory Therapist for several years. She resides in the community with her husband, Russell. They have two grown sons. She is currently taking coursework to become a Certified Audiology Assistant.
Heather's hobbies include reading, cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
