Meet Our Staff
Northeast Houston Hearing Services is owned by Kathleen Strafuss, Au.D. Dr. Strafuss attended Kansas State University for her Bachelor and Masters degrees. She received her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University. Dr. Strafuss has worked in a variety of settings as a speech/language pathologist and an audiologist, including schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private practice. She is licensed to practice audiology and speech/ language pathology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Adademy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA).

Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Ford received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. She obtained a Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of Louisiana and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University. She has worked with every population from infants to geriatrics. Dr. Ford is licensed to practice audiology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA). Her spare time is spent with family, friends and church activities.

Mona has 11 years experience with front desk administration in the hearing healthcare field. She currently resides in the community with her husband Bruce. Mona and Bruce enjoy spending time with their two adult children and their three grandchildren. Additional family members include Lucy, their furry feline. Mona’s hobbies include baking and crocheting.

Heather has a background in the healthcare arena as she worked as a Respiratory Therapist for several years. She took time off to raise her two sons. Now that one son is in high school and one is in college, she is ready to re-enter the work arena. Northeast Houston Hearing Services welcomed Heather in January, 2015.
Heather currently resides in Humble with her husband Russell. She enjoys reading, cooking, walking her dog Jaycee, and spending time with her family.
