Meet Our Staff
Kathleen Strafuss, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Strafuss, owner of Northeast Houston Hearing Services, attended Kansas State University for her Bachelor and Masters degrees. She was awarded her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University. Dr. Strafuss' career has spanned a variety of settings including the educational field, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and private practice. She is licensed to practice Audiology and Speech/ Language Pathology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Dr. Strafuss has resided in the community for 25 years and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her husband Johnny and their two canine companions Pepper and Lily.

Temeka S. Ford, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Ford received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Prairie View A&M University. She was awarded a Masters Degree in Audiology from the University of Louisiana and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University. With 18 years of professional experience, Dr. Ford's career has included providing audiology services to all ages. She has practiced in the hospital and educational settings, and for the last 8 years she has been practicing at Northeast Houston Hearing Services. Dr. Ford is licensed to practice audiology in Texas. She is also certified by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and a member of the Tinnitus Practitioner's Association (TPA). Her spare time is spent with family, friends and church activities.

Mona has 19 years experience with front desk administration in the hearing healthcare field. She currently resides in the community with her husband Bruce. Mona and Bruce enjoy spending time with their two adult children and their "eight-and-a half" grandchildren (number 9 will be born in the early part of 2019). Additional family members include furry felines Lucy and Lola. When she is not spending time with her family, kitties and friends Mona enjoys crocheting and is involved in church activities.

Heather obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiopulmonary Science from LSU. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist for several years before taking time off to raise a family. Northeast Houston Hearing Services welcomed Heather in January, 2015. Heather is currently working toward her Audiology Assistant certification.
Heather resides in Humble with her husband Russell. She enjoys reading, cooking, baking and spending time with her family.
